MARIPROBE The MARIPROBE Program is an umbrella for a variety of research initiatives that will support the development and application of seismological techniques to study fundamental problems relevant to resources and hazards associated with Canadian continental margins.
ECSOOT 1996. The seismic structure of Proterozoic orogens in Labrador, Canada. Cooperation between Dalhousie University (Halifax, Nova Scotia), Memorial University (St. John's, Newfoundland), and the Danish Lithosphere Centre (Copenhagen, Denmark).
Ocean-Continent Transition; Iberia Basin. Cooperation between Dalhousie University (Halifax, Nova Scotia) and the University of Cambridge (England).
Gas hydrate and slope stability studies on the Scotian Slope. Cooperation between Dalhousie University (Hailfax,Nova Scotia) and the Atlantic Geoscience Centre to investigate the possible presence of gas hydrates, and its possible link to sediment stability.
